After attending Pace University in Manhattan, Carolyn worked on Wall Street for Prudential Securities. She spent five years in the intense, high-paced environment before seeking a career giving her the ability to work hand-in-hand helping families to find their dream home.
Carolyn joined Prudential Douglas Elliman (now doing business as Douglas Elliman). She learned the ins and outs of the highly competitive industry there. She spent four years there before moving to Charles Rutenberg Realty. Working for a large company, she encountered numerous opportunities to expand her skill base. Helping home buyers and sellers in the community, Carolyn became passionate about meeting the needs of each of her clients. She became an Associate Broker in 2013.
Today, she’s a Broker/Owner having started The Toscano Realty Group in September of 2017. In her current venture, she is working to support home buyers and sellers in the region by providing exceptional negotiating skills, aggressive marketing methods, and solid communication.
Of her real estate career, she says, “Honesty and integrity is the one thing you need to have in this business. That's what I am all about. Without it, you would never stand out.” It goes without saying she’s truly dedicated to helping her clients through the process of buying and selling a home. Carolyn began her career as a single mom and has always believed in the importance of family. Today, she’s a married, mother of two daughters who keep her happily busy. In addition to this, she’s an avid horse rider. Growing up in a family that has been in the horse racing industry for 50 years, she grew up riding them. She’s owned her own racehorse since she was 18 years old. Her daughter shares the same passion. She feels she’s blessed to be able to spend her time pursuing her two passions – real estate and horseracing.
Noted for her skills in presenting homes using modern technology such as 3-D cameras, Carolyn has made her mark on the local real estate industry. She works with home sellers by walking through the home providing pointers on how to ready for a competitive sale. She’s known for going the distance for clients, such as helping families to increase the marketability of their home, getting a higher price for the property, and even aiding in staging. Carolyn makes the home buying and selling process less scary for every person involved while ensuring the best possible outcome occurs.
